Giulio is a 32-year-old designer. 18 of those years were spent following his passion for design, which he has succeeded in making into his career, being awarded international prizes such as the Red Dot Award, IF Award and the German Design Award.
He has completed an Erasmus year at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, Holland, a three-year degree at the Sapienza University of Rome and a specialisation at IUAV (Higher Institute of Architecture) in Venice and Treviso and then he worked in the Alto Adige region, where “I really learnt the job properly”. Today, Giulio lives and works between Rome, Bolzano and Milan, as a designer for large Italian and foreign companies on product design commissions in completely different sectors (medical, automotive, footwear, sport, etc.).
These mixed experiences united with his love of fashion and his continuous research make him focusing on identity and minimalism and creating the Ecle¯pti brand and his flagship product “T”, which conveys “a multifaceted philosophy characterised by a strong spirit of innovation”. Giulio is working to find something “beyond” the fog of the “already seen”. For him, passion and perseverance are intrinsic to talent itself and contribute to the realisation of a project, which, by means of a method and a well-established creative process, can produce a tangible final result. A freedom of expression that “brings people to disconnect themselves from passing trends, but to create an identity through details that reflect personalities and passions”. “T” is not a tie, but a new concept in modular, unisex accessories that not only frees us to revolutionise the product but also its daily use. “Diversity in the individual is the strength of this project”. Giulio’s next step is to find investments for an advertising campaign aimed at the Indie markets, which have always been on the lookout for differences seen as alternatives.
