For many people, the display of a precious object is an ornament that satisfies the desire for pleasure. For others it is something more. It is the search for a consonance between one's own state of mind and this mysterious object, made up of opacity and reflections, cuts and fillets, softness and harshness. It is the expression of the desire to embellish, but also the ancient instinct to have something magical on itself, a fusion of shapes, materials, colors. The ancient goldsmith art has always accompanied the life of all peoples, perhaps precisely to respond to this need. Already in 3000 BC in Egypt silver was worked and transformed into precious jewels. Creating jewelry today means taking back this feeling. And it is precisely this feeling that animates the creations of Roberta Roselli, aka Argentia Jewels.

Roberta graduated in applied art in the metals and goldsmith sector at the "Silvio D’Amico" Institute in Rome. For over thirty years Roberta has been designing and making unique jewels at her own laboratory in via Urbana in the heart of Rione Monti. She perfected her technique by attending the jewelery design course at the European Institute of Design and graduated as a ceramics goldsmith at the San Basilio Regional Institute in Rome. In 2001 she opened her first store driven by her father's death. The first line of Argentia jewels is inspired by the paper, having worked in a family print shop and in a shop where she learned between the various restoration techniques, the technique of papier mâché.

In her workshop in the heart of the Monti district Roberta creates jewels of art using the ancient techniques of the goldsmith's art but with a careful look at the contemporary style, a fusion of arts and feeling that animate the shapes associated with gems. Engravings in the metal signs of the time, which have upset the life of his family of Jewish origin escaped the Nazi persecutions, families "Finzi" and "Di Nola" now stumbling blocks in the heart of Rome. In addition to craftsmanship, Roberta teaches and collaborates with the T.A.M. of Pietrarubbia in the Marche, president Arnaldo Pomodoro, school of metal working. 34 years of experience in the world of jewelry and gems, metals and sculpture because it is not a work but real art.
