Prossima Apertura is an urban transformation project dedicated to the European Community square in the Toscanini district of Aprilia, an integrated design where architecture, social research and participation collaborate in the construction of a shared sense of collective spaces.
The idea is structured considering the "void" of the square as an urban element to be connected to the local reality, to the surrounding structures and spaces.
The project Prossima Apertura was the winner in 2016 of the Competition of ideas for the redevelopment of ten peripheral urban areas, announced by the MiBAC and the CNAPPC, and was subsequently brought into the implementation phase by the Municipality of Aprilia.
Tuesday 26 March 2019 from 4.30 pm on the balconies overlooking the future square the final project will be presented and the imminent start of the works will be announced.
