Loquis is the new free and innovative app for Android and IOS developed with the aim of telling the world. From street art to poetry, through the places that have made the film set to movies, series and fiction in Rome, to art, history and much more, Loquis literally tells the stories hidden in the streets of the ancient districts of Rome, offering the opportunity to visit the Eternal City accompanied by stories, experiences and descriptions of those who live there. From the simple citizen to open data contents that allow you to have a new look on what surrounds us, the app is screenless, that is to say executable without having to interact with the smartphone screen. This allows you to be used while walking, driving or on public transport, enriching the movements with curiosity, anecdotes and stories.
They range from cultural heritage, to celebrities, through film locations, in addition to neighborhood memories, craft shops, events not to be missed for families and children, narrated toponymy, noir news, psycho-geographical explorations. , street art, advice on what to see and where to eat for every exit of the motorway tollgate. A story navigator that offers audio content in five languages, revealing anecdotes, news and curiosities that belong to the place where you are; it is thanks to the geolocation that the service allows you to have real-time information on the places you are visiting for an experience in augmented reality of the Capital. It is also possible to choose what to listen to by selecting the information according to the user's interests.
The app also offers three channels created in collaboration with Roma Capitale: Contemporaneously Rome, Libraries of Rome and Around with Mic: the first channel provides daily updates on artistic and cultural initiatives in addition to events in the area, the second offers the various activities organized by the 39 libraries of the Municipality, the third shows the paths of the author to visit the city for free thanks to the new Mic card.
