LazioSound, the program of the Regional Government of Lazio in collaboration with LAZIOcrea, has been launched. The program aims at supporting the production, promotion, distribution, internationalization and training of artists and bands under35.
A songwriting rebirth is underway in the Rome: from indie to trap, from pop to rap to even more new trends and experiments. In this context, the Regional Government of Lazio is beginning to support the under35 music supply chain, especially bands, composers, singers and musicians between the ages of 14 and 35.
LazioSound is a project dedicated to emerging artists and is aimed at enhancing talents to spread the youth musical culture and promote new artistic production.
"Our commitment to the new generations continues: we are launching an important regional program - says Nicola Zingaretti, President of the Lazio Region - to stimulate the richness of the bands and the leading role of youth music which is very lively in our region. We launch LazioSound to give, with discretion, a boost to those young people who like to express themselves through music, who want to emerge, but who sometimes don't make it ".
Artists and bands can apply via the Lazio Sound portal. The songs will be listened to and selected through a three-step process: first by a jury of music industry experts, then by a radio format created by RadioRock and finally through a five-night live tour of important clubs in the city of Rome.
The final winners will be supported through the production, promotion and distribution of their songs and albums in Italy and abroad and will also participate in the Lazio Sound Campus: three days of training to promote the professional and artistic growth of individual musicians and bands in the aspects compositional, registration and protection of their works.
