The two notices of the Lazio Region for cultural spaces have been published: 3.5 million for accessibility and security and 6.8 for innovation projects designed by small and medium enterprises. The two Calls on Cultural Places for which the Lazio Region has decided to invest over € 10 million in resources. Museums, libraries, archives, monumental complexes, archaeological areas and cultural institutes will therefore be able to take advantage of these important resources for 2019.

The first call for proposals, Valorisation of Cultural Places, worth a total of € 3,460,000, is destined to invest in places of public culture in Lazio to improve the conditions of usability, security and accessibility to the public, aiming to develop online development policies through the incentive to system interventions. Contributions will be granted in capital account for an amount not exceeding 80% of the total eligible cost for public entities and 50% of the total eligible cost for private entities. The maximum regional contribution that can be granted cannot in any case exceed € 300,000.
Applications must be sent exclusively via PEC to the address cultura@regione.lazio.legalmail.it by 27 March 2019 and the projects must be completed within 12 months.

While for the second call for tenders, Business makes culture, for a total value of € 6,835,000, is instead reserved for projects capable of promoting the places of Lazio culture through the use of new technologies. Betting on the potential of innovation linked to the territories, the projects will have to combine support for entrepreneurship with the enhancement of "places of culture". The resources allocated are 50% made up of Community funds from the ERDF POR, 35% from national funds and 15% from regional funds. The subsidy consists of a non-repayable financial contribution up to a maximum of 80% of eligible expenses and in any case not more than € 200,000 per single project. The beneficiaries of the subsidies are the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in single or aggregate form, regularly established. Applications can also be submitted by companies in the form of stable and non-stable aggregations.

The application dossier must be presented exclusively through the online procedure accessible from the website www.regione.lazio.it/sigem from 12.00 on 16 January 2019 to 12.00 on 30 April 2019.

The period for the execution of the project is fixed at the most within 12 months starting from the date of the signing of the Act of commitment by the beneficiary of the contribution. For information: Figurative Arts, Cinema, Audiovisual and Multimedia Area
