All information on youth policies across Europe gathered in a single database: Youth Wiki is finally online, an interactive tool providing information on the situation of young people in Europe and on national youth policies supported by the Directorate General of the European Commission for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture. All this in a consistent, updated and usable format. The target? Improve knowledge of youth issues in Europe.
The new online encyclopaedia in the field of national policies for young people is a complete database of national structures, policies and actions. Eight main areas identified in the EU Youth Strategy 2010-2018: education and training, employment and entrepreneurship, health and well-being, participation, voluntary activities, social inclusion, youth and the world, creativity and culture.
In terms of content, these are developed on the basis of the political priorities set by the European Commission and the Member States in the framework of European cooperation in the field of youth. The information, elaborated and updated by the National Correspondents (NCs) designated by the governments of each participating country, are mainly qualitative and allow an analysis of the reforms and trends in the policy orientations in the various participating countries.
