Museums, laboratories and workshops on ceramics

Laboratories, workshops, museums: there are many places where you can admire these pieces of art. Let’s start from Piazza Cavour, 2, where we find Laboratorium, one of the most important places as to the production of pottery. Here inspiration comes from a distant past: the pottery creations, made entirely by hand, have a Middle Ages and Renaissance style. Vases, plates and sculptures “mimic” specimens collected over the centuries and exhibited in the most important museums around the world. If you wish to admire the most valuable pieces, stop at the Museum of Prehistory of Tuscia and Rocca Farnese in Piazza Vittoria. In the exhibition, a large collection of pottery from different historical periods are exhibited: it is like to make a journey across centuries, discovering how this art has changed and enriched iself according to fashion styles of different historical periods.

A few kilometers outside the city center, there is a reality that deals with the processing of ceramics and clay with the technique of digital decal. B.A.M.A, (on SS Cassia Km 136) uses new technologies to traditional clay processing.
