One for all. All for one. “We eat together, we work together, what we earn is split into equal parts”, says Fetà Asani. Daniele Bochicchio, Valentina Pontieri, Giuliana Briulotta and Giulio Vito Ciccarese all nod in agreement. The sharing of space symbolizes the sharing of life that lies behind the choice made by these five under-35-year-olds. A mix of dreams and pragmatism which began in an attic and ended up inside a redeveloped old mill, in an area – the Mandrione – dense with history. “The name produces a strange echo... Pasolini, the cinema, the gypsies...” (E. Albinati). After studying architecture together in Valle Giulia, each later specialised in a specific area – planning and landscape, design, realisation and construction management, modelling and development, property management or design and research – but they never lost touch, because at the heart of their relationship is friendship. Along with a desire to do things. A hotbed of ideas, discussion and debate, founded in the belief that union creates strength and creativity.
At the heart of their shared project is the overlapping and integration of disciplines, where innovation and creativity are channeled for the redevelopment of urban and historical constructions. From the project for the renovation of the Tintoretto Tower in Brescia to the redevelopment of the old town of Melendugno, from the Ecomuseum della Falesia delle terre di Acaya e Roca in Puglia to the realization of a mobile multimedia classroom, and from participating in the regeneration project of the SNIA Viscosa in Rieti to the ambitious plan for the redevelopment of rural villages in the Lazio region. Heart and head working together in harmony with clear aims, a dream funded in part by projects which are more pragmatic and less creative: above all fundraising, real estate appraisal, energy certification and small renovation jobs. To sum them up in four words, “We're a beautiful orchestra!”
