Green Screen Festival
Green Screen is the leading international wildlife film festival organized in Germany, in the charming town of Eckernförde, in the Schleswig-Holstein region on the shores of the Baltic Sea. For its 2016 edition, the festival is launching a competition dedicated to creatives to design its poster. Objective: to use a poster to express the link between nature and film, to powerfully communicate the event's mission through innovative, startling images able to capture and entrance spectators.
Expressive styles and creative techniques
As far as imagination and ingenuity are concerned, there are no limits. The poster can be created using any creative technique and by using all possible expressive styles: such as photography, drawing, painting or typography. The works may be produced by students, apprentices, agencies or freelance designers, and can be presented by groups or individuals. The winner will be awarded a prize of 1,200 Euro.
Screenings and debates heavy on dialogue
Green Screen takes place in September, lasts for five days, and every edition is followed by an average of 15 thousand spectators. The programme doesn't only include screenings, but also presentations, seminars, competitions and special events. Among the secrets of the event's success is the full calendar of debates, where many young people and fans have an opportunity to directly encounter important film-makers.
