In the heart of the Prati district, exactly in Via Germanico, there is a place that is a bookshop, a school of painting and creativity, a publishing house. Where is the news? What makes this place different from the others? The great American neurologist Oliver Sacks has not only underlined, in his wonderful and moving books, but scientifically demonstrated the extraordinary 'neural force' of art in all its forms, in people with neurodiversity.

Ultrablu has made this assumption its own, giving way to those who live with a neurodiversity to develop its artistic-cultural abilities. And it has created this space, with a beautiful and profound name, a place for meetings, relationships, observations, a space to express yourself, a "blue laboratory” a place of shared learning, exchange and human exploration. Artists with Pervasive Developmental Disorder do not have the opportunity to achieve success by using their innate potential, despite having an incredible aesthetic synthesis ability.

They see an object, an image that strikes them and they relate to each other without conceptual filters, they wear special glasses and their designs are very detailed and often ruthlessly sincere, with a beauty that moves because it is unfiltered, without hypocrisy, because they are completely indifferent to the judgment of others. The goal is to give them a working future in the field of art and illustrated publishing and to be able to live off their work, in a vision of inclusion, allowing so-called able-bodied and diagnosed artists with DPS to share artistic experiences together.

Ultrablu organizes workshops, ateliers and more, meetings during which participants learn to create and express themselves without the fear of being judged, abolishing the concept of normal and non-normal, which especially in art, in all its forms, does not exist. Over time, a unique publishing house was born that publishes only books born within Ultrablu.
