LIBRERIA TUBA

In the pedestrian area of the Pigneto district, there is a place that is now a point of reference for the entire neighborhood, a place that is always in movement, always in turmoil, not surprisingly all female. This place is Tuba, a women's bookshop, bar, club and bazaar.

A place opening 7 days a week, from early morning to evening, born in 2011 it is a place that proceeds quickly thanks to the daily commitment of a group of feminists and lesbians, strongly motivated by the idea that sociality can be free, cheerful and aware. Tuba fights every day against all types of discrimination: gender, sexual orientation, class, due to the color of the skin or the geographical origin.

All forms of racism and exclusion remain outside these colored walls. The library is a place that becomes a welcoming cocoon for women, to express themselves in any form they think or imagine: thoughts, words, body, politics, a place of sharing for the LGBITQ community. The programming of the events is dense and truly remarkable, in addition to the organization of two neighborhood festivals: the Bande de Femmes (festival of comics and illustration of women) and InQuiete (the first festival of writers).

Inside the library you can eat and drink as well, only excellent and organic products. Only one thing is missing. Go in Pigneto and enter!
