Teatro Bertolt Brecht
The Teatro Bertolt Brecht was founded in 1974 in Formia (LT) and since then it started its research work on actors and art. After an initial period based on the study of pantomime techniques, the collective joined the "Third Theatre" establishing contacts and partnerships with the most important Italian and international actors and companies. The Teatro Bertolt Brecht is not just a small room with 70 seats, it is not a person, nor a group of people but it is a "non-place."  A "non-place" where meeting and comparison  is possible; it promotes culture, ideas, a way of thinking, not only about theatre: it is a real philosophy of life, a touring caravan between Italy and abroad with a focus on theatre for children. The stage is not the privileged place to look but to communicate and participate to the pièce. Musicians, actors, set designers, records and minstrels of every kind started to make and share culture 40 years ago. In 2015, the Teatro Bertolt Brecht was recognized by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage as a promoter of theatre, manufacture and image activities.
