Spring Attitude 2017
Spring Attitide, the International Festival of Electronic Music and Contemporary Culture, starts on May 25th. Co-financed by the Lazio Region with the new live entertainment fund, the event is the physical and virtual place where contemporary sound, digital art, electronic splinters, avant-garde pop, folk and rap mingle meet. A spring of sounds and digital art with international flavor at its eighth edition, which last year counted 12,000 appearances.
Two exceptional places to host the event this year: the MAXXI - The National Museum of the Arts of the 21st and the Guido Reni District, a precious restoration of industrial archeology and now a place dedicated to art and creativity.
A festival that starts from electronics and club culture to lead unpublished artistic tours with unprecedented results with an eye on new forms of digital art thanks to Spring + On, live performances, interactive installations and perceptive experiences of sounds, visions, space. Without renouncing the now-familiar and busy adult training activities, thanks to the established collaboration with Rufa (Rome University of Fine Arts) as the main cultural and institutional partner and for the youngest in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Studio Lord Z.
The program with national and international guests is very good and very rich. From England Jon Hopkins, right arm of Brian Eno and sound engineer for Coldplay, today one of the most celebrated producers in the world; Nathan Fake, one of the most acclaimed artists in the world scene in Rome to present his latest Providence work. With them also Max Cooper, spiritual guide of an audio-video journey that reveals cybernetic and human music at the same time.
