Spaghetti & Cinema
The second edition of Spaghetti & Cinema has been launched, the project for teachers and students of hotel and agrarian schools of Lazio promoted by the Lazio Region with ARSIAL, Regional Agency for Development and Innovation in Lazio and edited by Progetto ABC Arte Bellezza Cultura (Art Beauty Culture) in collaboration with Roma Capitale and Roma Lazio Film Commission. The mai conre of project is a series of meetings dedicated to the promotion of local products and flavors of the region, told through images and stories of cinema.
The first event is scheduled for November 29, starting at 10:00 at Game Technotown in the beautiful Villa Torlonia, a formative meeting for teachers by Laura Delli Colli, author of the editorial series "Bread, Love and Dreams, movies and fantasy. The taste of the Italian cinema", with actor Vinicio Marchioni, protagonist of many successes and restaurateur for passion, Fabio Ferzetti, journalist and film critic and Luigi Nastri, chef. Antonio Rosati, CEO of Arsial and Giovanna Pugliese, the ABC project coordinator will be at the event as well.
Three films selected this year will be the focus of the initiatives: Poverty and nobility by Mario Mattioli (1954), Lezioni di Cioccolato by Claudio Cupellini (2007), The Hundred-Foot Journey by Lasse Hallstrom (2015).
Nicola Zingaretti, President of the Lazio Region, said: "The film originated from the mix of cinema and taste are a powerful tool to create awareness and to encourage the process of professional training of the younger generation on our gastronomic traditions as key elements of socialization, meeting and lifestyle ".
During the year there are additional initiatives involving the hotel schools of the territory, aimed at encouraging meeting of students with directors, actors, representatives from the world of culture, cinema and food.
