Sara Passeri has brought a small revolution in the marriage rite: she has succeeded in interpreting the taste of everyone who wants to give a touch of originality to wedding. Her activity is born in Monteverde, an old neighbourhood of Rome with small houses and, ironically, gardens in flower. After literary studies, works in different fields and a collaboration with a wedding planner, Sarah has opened her studio. For Sara the “do-it-yourself” creations were a hobby up to the day when a couple asked her if she could apply her creations with buttons to a bouquet for their marriage. So the “creative life” of Sara, as she defines it, started and then came her studio of alternative bouquet “Trilli e gingilli”, where products are shown and sold on the web. The requests are very different: from the teacher of mathematics, who wants paper flowers made of equations, expressions, plus and minus sign and curly brackets, to the ones who want their preferred book or heart song score in their bouquet. There are brides who wish an accessory of the same fabric of their dress and give Sara the offcuts of their train. But also jewels, like a pin of a grandmother who is gone, to create a bouquet that will never wither. It is an activity that demands the ability to listen to and to interpret the tastes, and sometimes also the whims, of everyone who wants to organize the perfect day. A day that - Sarah admits it – she dreamed about since she was a child. A job for which a good deal of romanticism is needed. And now, even the creator of “Trilli e gingilli” is about to marry, just little after the opening of her atelier. And with a bouquet, obviously created by herself.
