Turin International Book Fair
Also for this new edition Regione Lazio supports publishing industries that want to participate in the XXX editions of the International Book Fair taking place in Turin as every year. The goal is promoting the works of young talents, encouraging meetings between young writers and publishers, providing employment opportunities and supporting the literary production as for Lazio Creativo Program. As for every edition of the Piedmont fair, Regione Lazio allocates public notice with the amount of € 60.000 to support the participation of micro and small local publishing industries, by offering them the chance of taking advantage of a stand in the area devoted to Regione Lazio.
“Last year thanks to Lazio Creativo Program – said Lidia Ravera, Regional Councilor of Culture and Youth Policies – the regional government la Regione has supported the participation of more than 30 publishers in the Book Fair. This year again we keep the commitment. We must support books and publishing companies, from the authors to distribution, and we are doing it. " The requirements for participation are critical: companies must have at least one operational headquarters in Lazio on the date of application; They must be registered before 01/01/2017 to the businesses register of Chamber of Commerce.
They must have publishing as its main activity (ATECO Code 2007 - 58.1 J or G 47.91.1). In addition to this, companies must commit to carry, display and enhance - to the International Book Fair - at least one work of a young author under the age of 35, or alternatively companies must have at least one of the partners of the publishing house under the age of 35 to time of submission of the application. Applications and accompanying documentation must be received, under penalty of exclusion, at: Regione Lazio - Direzione regionale “Cultura, Politiche giovanili” - Area “Politiche Giovanili e Creatività” - Via Rosa Raimondi Garibaldi, 7 - 00145 Rome, within and no later than 14:00 hours of April 28th, 2017.
