Sala Margana is a space for recreational culture or cultural initiatives and it looks like a living room, with ancient family furniture. At the same time it permits a more vast usability, e.g. less tied to a household location. Everyone fills it up with his own ideas, that will be necessarily affected by splendour of location and its history.
The space is situated at ground floor level with and independent access, characterized by an upright portal obtained by Roman marble pieces. Through the portal you can enter the private yard of the Margani’s Palace, a noble family who lived here until XVII century and is present in the toponymy of this area. Inside the building we find three big columns of Ionic and Romanesque style capital and other two columns built in the wall, that means a more wide ancient yard. The two columns punctuate the bays covered with a segmental groin vault.
The space is around 180 square meters and there are 80 seats.
