The Ministry of Cultural Heritage launches a new public announcement to enhance the creativity and commitment of the world of art and culture.
TAKE PART! culture and creativity within the Italian suburbs, the initiative, promoted by the DGAAP (Directorate General for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Peripheries), aims to finance cultural projects for the creation of creative activities in the outlying areas of the city , often protagonists of economic and social marginality.
The call is open to all public and private cultural institutions, non-profit, operating in the field of contemporary creativity, which are located within the urban suburbs. The projects presented must be in partnership with at least one Third sector entity and involve young people aged between 18 and 29, to promote social cohesion.
The project aims to develop a program covering a period of at least 6 months, with activities built according to the needs of the local context, its criticalities, but also and above all its potential.
Proposals may include activities of contemporary creativity, for example in the visual and performing arts, video, applied arts, photography; but also of digital manufacturing or technological innovation. Projects involving artists and designers working in the field of relational art will be taken into consideration.
The contribution for TAKE PART! Acting and creative thinking amounts to 600 thousand euro: each project can receive a maximum of 60 thousand euro, and in any case for a coverage not exceeding 80% of the total budget.
