Lydia Biondi 2017 International Award
MTM Lydia Biondi, based in Rome, continues its activity in the spirit of her founder who was dancer, actress, director, teacher of Art Commedia, full stage artist and screenwriter. It establishes for the first time the Lydia Biondi International Award 2017 - Integration and contamination of languages and theatrical language for young performers.
The Lydia Biondi 2017 International Award is reserved to performances with international characteristics achieved through the contamination of several expressive languages (word, mime, dance, singing) or inspiration from canvas of art comedy, or even using more dialects and / or languages Other than the Italian, in order to overcome the linguistic and stylistic barriers. Italian and foreigners aged 30 or over can participate in the contest with an individual or duo performance. The competition includes a semifinal and a final. In the semifinals, which will be held on Monday 6 and Tuesday, 7 November 2017, the performances will have a duration not exceeding 5 minutes and will be considered suitable after a pre-selection by the organizing committee on the basis of the material attached to the application. At the final on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, a maximum of sixteen performers will be admitted for a duration of between 5 and 10 minutes and may have a larger version than that presented in semifinal or a completely different work. The awards ceremony will be held in Rome at the Dell'Angelo Theater on Wednesday, November 8, and a prize money will be awarded to the top three players, as follows: 1. First prize pool € 1.000,00 - 2nd ranked 2nd place € 500.00 - 3rd place classified € 300,00.
