Più libri più liberi
Più libri più liberi is the National Fair of Small and Medium Publishing and takes place in Rome, from 6 to 10 December 2017. For the sixteenth edition, the event moves from the traditional seat of the Palazzo dei Congressi to the new convention center of the Capital, La Nuvola, designed by the archistar Massimiliano Fuksas.
It is the only fair in the world dedicated exclusively to independent publishing where every year over 400 publishers, coming from all over Italy, present to the public the news and their catalog. Five days and almost 600 events in which to meet the authors, attend readings and musical performances, listen to debates on the issues of the sector.
But Più libri più liberi is not just this, the real heart of the fair is the cultural program: meetings with authors, readings, debates on current issues, initiatives to promote reading, music and live performances mark the five days of the event in a continuous succession of events for all tastes.
Among other things, we will mention two events organized by the Lazio Region and which will take place on December 6th: Sala Luna awaits you "Ad alta voce. Chi legge cresce", with the councilor Lidia Ravera and the school kids from Lazio. Also on 6 December, in the Polaris Room, there will be the appointment "Non spiegatemi la poesia", with an intervention by Lidia Ravera. On December 7th at the Sala Luna there is the meeting "Cosa può fare davvero la politica per la cultura? E la cultura per la politica?" to which the president of the Lazio Region Nicola Zingaretti, Lidia Ravera and Marino Sinibaldi will speak. On December 9th the Aldus Room will host the commissioner Lidia Ravera again with "Sesso e Potere - Consenso, desiderio, violenza".
