Pigneto Film Festival
5 foreign film makers, 144 hours to imagine and create an audiovisual product, using only "raw materials" from one of the smallest neighborhoods in Rome.
6 days of filming inside the "Pigneto triangle" where the young filmmakers attending the competition will have the opportunity to tell places and stories of one of the most alternative, dynamic and unruly districts in Italy.
Participants will have to develop a theme that will be communicated only the day before filming, the film maker's works will be examined by a technical jury made up of 5 elements that will publicly award a prize to the winner.
The competition for the Pigneto Film Festival 2018 is officially open, the first film competition for emerging directors to be held from 18 to 23 June in one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of Rome.
The original works should not be longer than 10 minutes and may be designed and produced in the form of short films, video clips or animated shorts, characterized by a narrative or documentary system.
Each film maker will be associated with a local tutor, chosen by the production, who will accompany him throughout the shooting.
The organizers of the Festival will take charge of travel, board and lodging expenses for the entire duration of the event, and will also be guaranteed to the participants the presence of scenic and scenographic material.
At the end of the shoot, a 6-piece jury chosen from established professionals in the sector will reward the winner who will be awarded a cash prize.
