Pigneto Film Festival
First edition of the festival that will feature five young videomakers from different parts of Europe, engaged for six days of filming inside the Pigneto. Free entry from 18 to 23 June 2018 arrives in Rome for the first edition of the festival where five young videomakers from different parts of Europe will take part, which will be held.
The Pigneto Film Festival: half festival half workshop, thanks to this new appointment Pigneto will be transformed in the third week of June in an impromptu film set, with many free events: projections, concerts and talks with the directors, in the Largo Venue offices and Co.Ro, the Pigneto coworking.
The formula is simple: five foreign film makers, 144 hours to imagine and create an audiovisual product, using only "raw materials" from one of the most creative, multicultural and impertinent neighborhoods of Rome. Six days of shooting inside the Pigneto triangle between the streets Prenestina, Casilina and Acqua Bullicante, where the young filmmakers in the competition will have the opportunity to tell new and original places and stories. The participants will have to develop a theme that will be communicated to him only the day before the shooting. Their work will then be examined by a jury and rewarded.
Many partners of the event - such as CICI Film Festival of Castellammare del Golfo - who contributed to the festival program. During the week the PFF will project the winning winners of the last CICI editions. Furthermore, in collaboration with Doc Servizi, the cooperative that manages and protects entertainment professionals, there will be ample room for documentaries.
