Pi Campus is a place and an anomalous space, in the Roman and Italian panorama. It is a coworking space, a startup district, a venture capital fund that invests in talent. It provides money, mentoring and the best possible working environment to grow in. Starting from the basement of a villa, now it’s a large venue, with dozens of startups.
Born from an idea by Marco Trombetti, who took advantage of his knowledge and brought a breath of innovation within the Italian scene, without forgetting the activities that take place periodically: workshops, events or the recent Pi School, born in January 2017.
The Campus membership process is unique: there is no possibility of applying or renting desks like in a normal coworking: the most direct way to become part of it is to be chosen. Following a very accurate scouting, startups are preferred at an advanced stage of development or already emerging from an acceleration path, which stand out for a high growth potential.
And it is at this point that the process of financing begins, offering 6 months of free stay within the space, where you can find the opportunity to compare and share ideas, especially with other startups already residing in the Campus, exploiting their know-how and more advanced skills.
Each villa has several desks equipped for their startuppers, as well as a kitchen and some living rooms where citizens, residents of Pi Campus, can meet and give vent to their creativity, at their disposal there’s also a gym, a games room, an area for book sharing, offices equipped with showers and lockers, spinning classes, gymnastics and massage sessions, all completely free, plus some bonuses. The most curious and healthy? Those who quit smoking receive a 4% increase in salary.
