ONDADURTO TEATRO is a theater company born in 2005, based in Rome. It is led by Marco Paciotti and Lorenzo Pasquali and has grown thanks to a joint work with those who over the years have participated in the company's projects.
The research and work of ONDADURTO TEATRO have always focused on the Physical Theater, the Nouveau Cirque and the Gesture. The different techniques and methods of expression create a visually striking visual language, capable of dialoguing with people of all ages, ethnicities and cultures and reaching an international audience. His shows include the combined use of machinery, large moving objects, fireworks, water games, music (also live) and video projections. ONDADURTO TEATRO has brought his shows on tour in Italy and other European countries. It has started cooperation and exchange projects in Thailand, India, Cuba.
It organizes two annual festivals, inEURoff and inBORGO, the first in Rome, the second in Borgo Velino, and since 2006, with projects in the social field,
it brings art and theater to the Roma nomad camps, as tools for exchanging cultures. Since 2015 he has created a permanent project of Artistic Residence for the development of the Urban Theater. ONDADURTO TEATRO is a company supported by MiBACT / Foreign sector.
