OHOHOH: Design Comes to Town
The FAMO COSE Roma Makerspace organizes OHOHOH: Design Comes to Town, a design showcase that will be an opportunity to meet and discuss the project culture at the center of the creative process and the quality and potential of self-production. A real event dedicated to design and creativity totally Made in Italy and offering, during the Christmas season, an opportunity to discover and purchase innovative and quality products.
The FAMO THINGS Roma Makerspace is a co-working space for professionals, startupper and creative talents, where you can find equipment and know-how to design and deliver innovative products and services. Because of its nature, the hub offers the opportunity to get noticed and show talent.
Ten reality of the Italian design scene, therefore, will exhibit their creations in the makerspace, a temporary exhibition that will allow visitors to know the designers, their work and the history of the brand.
For this occasion a temporary shop will be also set up, where people can buy the products on display.
Among the brands attending the event, Plato Design, winner of the Fund for Creativity 2014 of the Lazio Region founded by Alessandro Mattei and Caterina Naglieri. Plato Design produces lamps in the characteristic shape of a dodecahedron. Also Paula Design Studio, a group of young and creative designers that deals with design, will take part in the event. Both are part of the creative team Lazio Creativo.
Other participants include: Coco and Design; Do it !; Folding Pets; Fox Craft; artifact; Namoo; Gualandi workshops; SmåtSmåt.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 17 and Sunday 18 from 10.00am to 11.00pm in Via Caltanissetta 26, Rome
