New Fund for Creativity 2018
Also this year the Creativity Fund, established by regional law n. 13/2013, funds the creation of new start-ups in the field of culture and creativity: arts and cultural heritage, architecture and design, live entertainment and music, audiovisual and publishing.
The Fund supports start-ups born of no more than 6 months and the initiative of private citizens wishing to set up a business. Between 2014 and 2016, the Creativity Fund has already financed more than 80 new companies in Lazio, with an investment of 2.4 million euros.
With the Lazio Creative Program about 6 million euros have been invested to support and strengthen the cultural industry, the new start-ups, the creative networks, the regional network of FabLabs, the young talents of Lazio. Every year, in Lazio Creative, 100 talents under 35 of Lazio are selected by ten experts and told by young emerging writers and writers.
The result is a detailed map of creativity in Lazio, which joins the Creative Lazio Portal, the virtual square that involves over 6 thousand young people. The network of the six FabLabs of the Lazio Region - hosted in the premises of Spazio Attivo - represents another pillar of Lazio Creativo, which in recent years has carried out more than 950 training activities for over 12,000 people. Thanks to the Lazio Creative Program, the Lazio Region supports several festivals of particular value for creativity and innovation.
Among these: Open House Rome, Let's Play, Medioera - Digital Culture Festival, Caffeine Festival, ARFestival, Romics, Media Art Festival. The Lazio Creative Program also promotes the talents of Lazio in the main national and international fairs. The talents that the Region intercepts in its activities take part in several events throughout the year, from Milan Design Week to Moa Casa, from Roma Sposa to Artigiano in Fiera, from Artex to the Salone del Restauro in Ferrara, up to Romics.
