I’m meeting the guys from TWM at Fidene, near Smistamento Roma - 300 square metres of former railway offices - a building acquired on gratuitous loan after winning a call put out by RFI (Italian Rail Network). Nicola, Riccardo and Ginevra share a creative aura merging the passion of their 20 years and their awareness that creativity is infinite, scorning the limits of time. They are a single entity, capable of giving shape to the beautiful emotion that lives inside them since they began to get to know the talented young people of the art and architecture worlds. A universe where bright ideas have no age. Sitting at a table at their future Hub, I listen to them shuffling their feelings after one month of surveys and two months of photo-shoot in the most beautiful museums in Rome, to portray thirteen emerging artists, all under 30 years old, and “placing them in relation to works of art in historical context”. “Giovani Creativi” is a series of photo portraits that celebrate the expressive potential of talents. Architects, designers, DJs, street artists, all stand out against backdrops that take on ulterior meanings. Creating a work of deep artistic depth and of aesthetic composition. A series of visual biographies that transform the places of art into a meeting place for history and modernity. In this way, a painting by Fontana becomes the surface to build a photograph where the genius of a young architect designs new spaces. The Baroque walls of the private rooms in Palazzo Barberini frame a designer and her minimalist creations, and there are more like these. The photos are the confirmation that time doesn’t make the boundaries, but broadens the possibilities, and that before 30 years of age, it is possible to make a difference by creating something unique. The confines of this page do not allow enough space for the potential of their project.
