New Generations Festival
The fourth edition of the New Generations Festival - Architects VS Rest of the World offers an intense program of debates, workshops and cultural activities that involve many international guests, gathered to make a point on the architect's profession from a multidisciplinary point of view.
After the success of the events organized in Milan (2013), Florence (2014) and Genoa (2015), Rome will host the Fourth Edition of the New Generations Festival with the aim of creating a community of architects and experts from different disciplines to redefine the role of ' architecture in contemporary society.
The initiative is part of the Cultural Agenda of the New Generations Association and is kindly supported by the Rome City Council and Estate Romana, by the Rome Architects' Order, by the National Board of Architects, Landscape and Conservative Architects, the Netherlands - Embassy and Consulate General of the Netherlands in Italy.
The relationship between the new generations of architects and other disciplines is a wide field of discussion that will be addressed through three universal themes: Urban Vocabulary & Public Space, New Economies & Values, Digital Infrastructure & New Media.
These three themes will be at the center of the debate during the Festival inviting young architects, citizens, sociologists, economists, public and private institutes, startup, communication and media experts, web developers, programmers and many other professionals to discuss and exchange ideas . The debate will be attended by representatives of the vast network of New Generations Platform, which has more than 500 international experts.
