Movieland promotes the Region
The promotion of the Latium passes through creativity. That's why the Regional Department of Tourism of the Region has launched, together with Rome Lazio Film Commission, the contest "Movieland", the first international Italian festival dedicated to the world of web series and digital content.
Movieland, in collaboration with Roma Web Fest and the Cultural Association ANCEF (National Association of Filmmakers and Creatives), aims at the creation of quality web set with the goal of promoting and celebrating the regional culture, art and nature. First point of contact between young video makers and film industry, the webseries have innovative elements as to creativity, production, dissemination and language. For this reason, they can be a real opportunity to promote tourism resources of Latium.
The prize is 5,000 Euros; those who promote the territory with greater efficiency, creativity and originality will be awarded. The best students could see their work turning into a real web series. The most interesting proposals will be assessed by producers and broadcasters, together with regional top brands looking for innovative projects. Movieland will pay new attention to the region, with fresh and original ideas and will be an opportunity to identify young filmmakers and creative as well.
The prize will be awarded during the awards ceremony of the Roma Web Fest 2016. Furthermore, within the three days festival, the 10 best pilots participating in the contest will be projectedpro. The deadline of the competition is September 15.
Participation in the competition is free and involves free subscription to the Web Roma Fest and Ancef newsletter.
