“Raccontare Enea” exhibition
The Civic Archaeological Museum Lavinium hosts, from 30 September 2017 to 30 January 2018, the cartoon show and "RACCONTARE ENEA", organized by ARF! Festival and promoted by the Lazio Region, Lazio Creativo and Lazio Innova. In the exhibition, set up inside the museum's path, focusing on the myth of the hero and its landing on the Latium coast, are exhibited the works of the young talent of the comic and drawing, who participated in the organized Hackathon Lazio Creative, last May, from Arf! Festival and Lazio Innova.
Under the Lazio Creativo Regional Program, the Contest saw the participants engaged in the creation of a comic book, an illustration or a graphic artwork that could tell the myth of Enea. Three hours of "live work sharing" for a true full immersion into concept, design and setting of works under the guidance of a team of highly experienced tutors, professional authors and cartoon school teachers and illustration of Rome: David Messina (DC Comics and Image Comics), Stefano Caselli (author Marvel Comics, teacher at the Roman School of Comics), Rita Petruccioli (author for The New Junior Border, Mondadori - Libri for Boys and BAO Publishing) with Stefano "S3Keno" Piccoli and Paolo "Ottokin" Campana for ARF! Festival.
Within five days of the drafting of the drafts, the participants completed and sent their works. The awards ceremony was held on May 28, 2017 at MACRO Testaccio - La Pelanda during the third edition of ARF! Festival. Winner of the Contest Francesca Ficorilli, with a prize of 1,000 € in good Amazon.
