THEY CALL ME
THEY CALL ME "MASTER FRAMER"

Do you need any advice on the right frame? Are you looking for an object that can make one of your canvas even more special and valuable? The Maurizio Martinelli laboratory offers ancient and modern frames, artisanal ones in gold leaf or silver up, carved with the same methods of the craftsmen of the past. Traditional systems such as recoating in spirit or encaustic on precious woods such as the Slavonian Cherry wook. All in a 150 square meter exhibition space where Martinelli wants to make every customer a participant and spectator of his own work.

Anyone who comes into this laboratory should feel at home and touch what is behind the manual activity of a craftsman, made of years of study and apprenticeship. A job that has often led to collaborate for example with the Centre for Restoration of the Vatican Museums in 1988 or with the Museum of Rome for the creation of folders for storaging watercolors of the Treccani encyclopedia to Paris , where he flew in 2006  to present his collection "Fragments of History", made of paper material objects restored.
