Media Art Festival
The Media Art Festival is an initiative of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, created to explore the new frontiers of culture and art. The focus of the fourth edition is the "convergence between natural and artificial".
The event, a crucial point of reference for curators, young people, creative people, industry experts from around the world and school students, brings to the capital world-renowned artists but also emerging young artists.
Some of them have worked in schools in Rome, Milan and Palermo for the realization of works of art to be exhibited at Maxxi: a real widespread production workshop to bring the new generations closer to an active, innovative and creative use of technology and the development of new strategic skills for the creation of future professional profiles.
The event is organized in collaboration with Epson, the American Embassy in Italy, the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, RUFA - Rome University of Fine Arts, MAXXI - Museum of the XXI Century Arts, Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Creative Europe (European Commission). Media partner Inside Art.
Media Art Festival will be held May 17 to 19 at the MAXXI - National Museum of the XXI Century Arts, at the Academy of Fine Arts in the heart of Rome and at RUFA - Rome University of Fine Arts.
