"Story of Architecture Through Imagery" is the creative marathon in which over 100 young people will join together at the Open House Rome together with the Open House Rome weekend to immortalize the architectural beauty of the ancient, modern Eternal City And contemporary, with the aim of enhancing the treasures of Rome and communicating the emotions of architecture through photographic shots.
The initiative is promoted under the Creative Lazio Program by Open House Rome in collaboration with the Lazio Region and Lazio Innova.

Open House is the Roman edition of the world's largest architectural festival: a concept born in 1992 in London, and is now widely circulated in more than 35 cities around the world, which each year offers free public hundreds of quality architectural sites. The Open House edition of Rome is a great project that from 2012 involves the whole city, with a growing share of participation. In 2016 70,000 guided tours were promoted in 160 sites.

And for the 2017 edition, scheduled for Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May, there will be over 180 public places, including historical, monumental, museum and archaeological sites, significant sites of the immense architectural heritage of Rome. The aim is to foster the knowledge, promotion and development of the architecture and design sector, while promoting workshops, cultural paths, meetings with creative young people and experts. The event is realized thanks to the support of young volunteers Under 35, university students who - besides being the first users of the event, in line with the Lazio Creativo program - will at the same time be the guides that will animate Open House Rome.

"Architecture Tale Through Imagery" is in this sense a showcase that gives space and visibility to the free initiative of young people in the field of cultural and creative activities. Marathon participants, trained and coached by coaches and experts, will have to take a picture of the places visited during the opening of Open House Roma and post it on Instagram with the #
#OHRLazioCreativo hashtag. The images will be evaluated and judged by a jury of experts in architecture, photography and communication.

The best 40 works will be exhibited to the public during an event that will be held at the end of May in one of the architectural sites visited by Open House Roma 2017. And the top three works will be awarded with a good buy on the Amazon platform for a total value of 1.500 euros.
