The revival of theater
The Lazio Region President Nicola Zingaretti and the Regional Councilor for Culture and Youth Policy Lidia Ravera inaugurated the Municipal Theater in Cori (Latina), one of the twenty-five public theaters of our territory for which the current junta has reactivated funds previously blocked for worth 7 million euros.
The theater is located inside the municipal building, and the area was excavated with works in the mid-1970's. Thanks to the unlocked funds from the Region, it was possible to intervene for the first time with renovations, which brought to light of the cyclopatic walls covered first by plaster.
Re-energized resources are designed for functional adaptation through reorganization and adaptation of space, accessibility for the disabled, general refurbishment of the plant, finishing of the finishes and the setting up of the theatrical hall.
Overall, in Latina and the province, the Lazio Region has invested over € 2 and a half in the public theater resources for architectural, renovation, standardization, and architectural barricades.
In addition to the Municipal Theater of Cori, the Region intervened on the renovation of the Teatro D'Annunzio di Latina; of the Cinema Lilla di Lenola, of the municipal theater of Fellini in Pontinia and in the municipal cinema theater of Priverno.
