The City under 25
At its sixth edition, the Dominio Pubblico project is growing more and more and is looking for young Under 25s who are eager and curious to try their hand at an active audience, aimed at the production, promotion and organization of a multidisciplinary festival.
Dominio Pubblico - The city under 25 is, in fact, the first festival entirely dedicated to creativity under 25, organized and created by young people who every year form the artistic direction of the festival that will come to life in June in the Theater of Rome - National Theater. The entire process of preparing the festival is a formative, stimulating and inclusive experience, thanks to which the youngsters, as well as active spectators, can also try their hand at the role of cultural operators.
This year a great opportunity for young people who want to get closer to the project and get to know it from close up: a day of OPEN DAY, Thursday 10 October at 17 at the Teatro India - Teatro di Roma. During the meeting, in addition to the presentation of the project, the participants will be able to listen and then compare themselves with the young people who formed the artistic direction of the festival in past editions. An excellent opportunity, therefore, to enter the Live of Public Domain through those who have made it in all these years. It will be an afternoon of knowledge and conviviality: immediately after the meeting, from 19.30 will follow an aperitif, always in the spaces of the Teatro India - Teatro di Roma.
The Dominio Pubblico project this year has been reconfirmed among the 20 entities financed by the MIBACT (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism) for the promotion and training of the public with a three-year project developed in collaboration with the Teatro di Roma - National Theater, under the direction of Antonio Calbi.
The students who choose to become an active part of the project start from a vision path: ten shows selected within the program of the Teatro di Roma - Teatro Nazionale, main partner of the project, divided between Teatro Argentina, Teatro India and Villa Torlonia. Among the authors, performers and important directors that the project will involve this year there are Ferdinando Bruni and Elio De Capitani, Marco Martinelli and Ermanna Montanari, Andrea De Rosa, Davide Enia, Eleonora Danco, Emma Dante.
Young people who want to become part of the Under-25 Public Domain community must sign a subscription for the special price of 60 euros, thus starting an active vision that includes a series of meetings with the artists of the shows: directors, authors and actors of the work. The cost of the subscription only covers the ticket for the scheduled shows. All training activities dedicated to participants are free and accessible to all children born after '93.
Do all your friends think theater is an old thing? Do you always see so many old people at the theater? They gave you old because you go to the theater? THAT'S ENOUGH! It's time to get old!
