The 13th edition of the Rome Film Festival and La Nuova Pesa center for contemporary art, thanks to the commitment of the Lazio Region, promote a special tribute to the 200 years since the writing of L'Infinito by Giacomo Leopardi.
Already last year the consonance between the Director Antonio Monda and Simona Marchini about the need for a meeting between the different artistic languages had led to the production of six film shorts, Trame d'autore.
This year, 29 poets and 29 visual artists were called to pronounce themselves, each through their own poetics, on the theme of infinity. Thus a large format book has been created that unfolds linearly over 17 meters through the juxtaposition of a poetic text and an image.
The book will be exhibited in its full width at WEGIL, the space reopened by the Lazio Region with LazioCREA, for the entire week starting on 22 October and at 7.30 pm on Monday the poetic texts will be read by professional actors and young people promises of the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts.
