ITALIA SURF EXPO - THE SURF VILLAGE & MUSIC FESTIVAL, is the most important and well known event in the Italian surf scene, with over 30,000 visitors every year from all over the peninsula.
Born in Santa Marinella in 1999 and immediately became the most important event in Italy solely dedicated to the world of Surf Culture and Lifestyle that revolves around the world action-sports.
It is not only a meeting point for operators and enthusiasts of the sector, but has become over time a mass market event open to all, a promoter of pure active fun, with spectacular, unique and unmissable events.
Never any event on the generis has had so much visibility on the national media and a lot of turnout, with over 25 thousand appearances in the last editions ...
ITALIA SURF EXPO transforms incredibly for 3 days, the fantastic beach of the Medieval Castle of Santa Severa, in an energy village with free admission for a three-day non-stop with many sports activities open to all for free to bring the general public: surfing, booth up paddle, skateboarding, wakesurfing, indoboard, slakeline, canoeing and then hiking, diving, beach games!
The night then turns, between lights and music, in a fashion show, film festival and mega beach-party. This year there will be the important goal of the twentieth edition with international guests and special initiatives.
At the Castle of Santa Severa, at the Civic Museum of the Sea and Ancient Navigation, a room dedicated to the Italia Surf Expo event was inaugurated and its creator Alessandro Marcianò, a surfer known to international tabloids for having ridden at the end of February 2017 one of the highest waves in the world, in Nazaré in Portugal.
The hall inside the Museum has been dedicated to him for the contribution offered over the last twenty years to the territory and to eco-sustainable sport.
