Interno 36 was born in 2016 in Frosinone thanks to the the will of some local artists who did not want to escape from their city, but to stay and try to change things with courage and determination. Artists, brave and enterprising, are: Claudia Mancone, photographer and restorer, Sara Carturan, painter, Gioia Onorati, photographer, Giacomo de Angelis, photographer and videomaker, Gianmarco Testani, screenwriter and producer.
This challenge they have faced and won is called Interno 36: an art studio of young people under 36 who have not been frightened by the troubled slope undertaken in recent years by the tallest part of the city, that’s the most beautiful part.
Interno 36, at via del Plebiscito, in the heart of the historic center, near the Campanile - symbol of the city - is an artistic polyhedral space with the goal of creating a total art platform. A shared space, a place of confrontation and growth for everyone, through the realization of cultural events linked to the art world, art and photography exhibitions, workshops, cinematic and audiovisual projects.
The manifesto of the newborn group is clearly explained with a post on the Facebook page: "We are young and creative, we believe that change should start from us, and start from here, from the place that has closed too many enterprises in the city.
