The European Institute of Design, or more simply IED, is a private professional school of design, fashion, communication and visual arts, which offers post-diploma courses, masters and specializations. The IED is based in twelve cities in Italy and worldwide: Milan, Rome, Turin, Venice, Como, Florence, Cagliari, Barcelona, ​​Madrid, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro. The various locations are continuously connected, as if they were a single location, it is a practice, in fact, the exchange of content and contributions, such as that of students and teachers who pass from one city to another to broaden their vision of the world.

The educational offer of the IED is very wide with numerous courses for all disciplines: three-year and post-diploma courses, masters, advanced training courses, specialization courses, semester or Academic Year Abroad, summer courses.

The Fashion School IED Moda is an all-round school based on the transversality and completeness of its teaching methodology that combines knowledge with know-how, theory with practice. Fundamental in this sense is the relationship with the companies and professionals of the Italian Fashion Supply Chain system, the most important association of industrial and creative clothing designers worldwide.

The School of Design IED Design is a concrete answer to the countless needs of the professional world of design. Design is deeply rooted in every product sector in terms of content, languages, expressive and formal codes, technical and functional aspects. Street furniture, design of fashion accessories, cars, IT supports are just some of the fields where the value of design has dramatically increased in recent years.

The School of Visual Arts IED Arti Visive is the creative laboratory where you learn the tools, the linguistic and expressive registers, the new techniques and technologies necessary to develop a visual communication project.

The School of Communication IED Comunicazione offers training in which design thinking and learning by doing prevail, with study paths that alternate theoretical lessons, workshops, designs, laboratories, seminars and conferences. This creative approach, typical of design, allows to train professional figures capable of facing the challenges that the continuous evolution of the communication and marketing sectors, in particular in the digital field, imposes.
