1st edition of “Patrimonio in musica”
From July 21th to August 5th 2017 Fondazione Musica per Roma presents the 1st edition of Patrimonio in musica, thanks to the support of Regione Lazio, with the aim at enhancing the immense archaeological heritage of the sites recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites UNESCO. Villa Adriana in Tivoli, the Necopolis of Monterozzi in Tarquinia and the Necropolis of Banditaccia in Cerveteri will be the extraordinary stages that will be the cornerstone of all the scheduled events.
This is the result of a collaboration with MIBACT - Polo Villa Adriana Villa d'Este Archaeological Authority of Lazio and Southern Etruria - starting from a common idea of promoting and enjoying the heritage. The first date is on July 21st at Villa Adriana with the choir of Santa Cecilia National Academy; the next day the paths of the festival will continue with three artistic personalities coming from different musical cultures that meet with the will to invent new tales and suggestions together: Javier Girotto, Natalio Mangalavite and Peppe Servillo.
Among the many guest artists of the Festival: Sergio Cammariere, PMCE - Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble, Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio, Maria Pia De Vito and Rita Marcotulli, NTJO - New Talents Jazz Orchestra, Daniele Tittarelli, Simone Alessandrini and Gabriele Coen. All the shows will be held during the ordinary and extraordinary opening of the concerned sites, by allowing the public to visit these jewels of our region in a completely new outfit, thanks to the offer of a rich refined billboard, that’s suitable for every need and able to satisfy all tastes.
