Fondo Creatività 2016 - funding rankings
The project funding rankings of the Fondo della Creatività 2016 (Fund for Creativity) has been approved. The Fondo della Creatività was presented last February 8 in support of creativity, for the development of start-ups in the cultural and creative sectors, especially in the audiovisual sector, technologies applied to cultural artistic heritage, design, architecture and music.
The 40 start-ups classified will be financed through the Fund with a total amount of € 1,118,454.68. The Province of Latina registered an excellent result with 7 start-ups classified together with the province of Viterbo with 4 projects approved.
The previous Fondo della Creatività has supported the creation and development of innovative start-ups in the audiovisual sectors, technologies applied to cultural heritage, artistic, design, architecture and music, by providing co-funding up to the 80% of start-up costs and initial investment.
The Lazio Region has put creativity at the center of its strategic program with the aim of relaunching a key container of the regional economy. Companies and cultural and creative sectors produce in fact 78.6 billion of value added and start other sectors of the economy, producing an overallamount of € 227 billion. Lazio is over 10% (ie 630 thousand) of national creative industries and is worth 8% of GDP compared with about 6% of the national average.
