The Association for the Circuit of Young Italian Artists is an organism has been present since 1989 to today and gathers 31 local authorities (municipalities, provinces, regions) in order to support the creativity of young people through training, promotion and research.
The events promoted both at national and international level, are also intended to encourage the relationship between the young artistic production and the market.
The Association's website is currently among the most visited of its kind, with a large section dedicated to opportunities and notices, information, resources for public art and entertainment and is a place of work, debate and exchange of ideas, in addition to containing an online national database continuously updated with over 15,000 young creative cards in various artistic fields.
GAI has locations throughout Italy and, in agreement with the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities and Tourism, under the DE.MO. project, support for the new design for art shop and bookshop and the international mobility of young artists Italian, currently promotes Movin'Up competition, the support program aims to promote an annual fund the mobility of young Italian artists in the world. Movin'Up is a call for young creative people between 18 and 35 years of age who work with professional goals and who have been admitted or officially invited abroad by cultural institutions, festivals, public and private bodies in contests, residencies, workshops , workshops, internships or similar initiatives or have planned production and / or co-artistic productions to be realized in centers and foreign institutions.
With regard to artistic mobility and international networks, the JHA is the Italian coordinator for Pépinières Européennes pour Jeunes Artistes and is member of BJCEM - Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, is also partnering with international companies Transartists and Culture Action Europe for several European projects. In addition, from 2015 the JHA Institute of thematic working groups inside the circuit, including special importance has assumed the one dedicated to Street Art as a dynamic new form of artistic expression.
