Shapes and colors in the land of Tuscia
The 13th edition of the Competition "Shapes and Colors in the Land of Tuscia - Artistic Crafts & Design" is organized in Viterbo, in the Cultural Center of Valle Faul (whose use is granted by the Carivit Foundation), in the period from 24 April to 12 May 2019, from CNA Artistic and Traditional of Viterbo and Civitavecchia, with the patronage and the support of the Lazio Region and the Carivit Foundation, with the patronage of the Municipality of Viterbo, of the Province of Viterbo, of the Chamber of Commerce of Viterbo and of the Art Craft Observatory and in collaboration with the Girolamo Fabrizio Cooperative.
The competition has four sections:
to. "Crafts and design" - reserved for craft businesses;
b. "Artistic Crafts" - reserved for craft businesses;
c. "Artistic Crafts / Crafts and Design" - promoted and supported by the Lazio Region - Creative Lazio Program - and reserved for the students of the Artistic High Schools of Lazio (individually or in groups);
d. "Artistic Crafts / Crafts and Design" - promoted and supported by the Lazio Region - Creative Lazio Program - and reserved for creatives under 35 living in Lazio.
Each participant may submit only one work to the Competition, but will have the opportunity to exhibit another piece outside the Competition. The work must be unpublished (neither published nor exhibited previously), under penalty of exclusion from the Competition, made in any material and with the use of any technique. Craft businesses can also choose to participate exclusively in the Exhibition, so as to contribute to the creation of a showcase that offers an overview of the wealth of creativity and craftsmanship of which the territories are rich.
A jury of experts will examine the works in competition and will announce the first three winners for each section. The work will be evaluated taking into account the originality, the artistic quality and the technical quality of realization of the product.
