Festival Hippie | Hippies invade Garbatella

Sunday, November 25 over 200 artists, including artisans, holistic operators, musicians, circus artists and shamans are ready to invade the capital with the unprecedented Hippie Festival designed by Ilaria Aquili. The Festival will take place at the Circolo degli Illuminati in Via Giuseppe Libetta, 1, in the Garbatella district. A colorful market will host 60 artisans, stylists and vintage collectors from all over Italy. The stands will propose natural remedies obtained from the processing of essential herbs and spices, ceramics, leather work, the art of recycling and objects for furniture. The green corner, instead, will be dedicated to an exhibition and live realization of Kokedama.

During the day you can immerse yourself completely in the world of flower children: live shows and acrobatics, concerts, DJ sets and spaces dedicated to therapy, massages, until the tarology, for a great event with free admission. The group of trible fusion, gypsy and oriental dancers opened the curtain. At the special relaxation area will be carried out massages: Hawaiian, candle massage, bamboo massage, relaxation, ayurveda, cervical, foot reflexology, and sound bath with Tibetan bells. Special guest: the shaman Juan Vittoria who, during the treatments, both individual and group, will use sounds and rhythms to help people to "re-tune" on the frequency that is defined as "unconditional love", thanks to which you can feel the union with the whole, even for a moment, sufficient for infinite benefits. The tools used for this pro will be the shaman drum, the shaman handpan, the voice, as well as incense based on herbs.

Among the most awaited protagonists of the hippie event, the Shape Company will leave viewers speechless thanks to the numbers of acrobatics, fakirism, verticalism, popping, acrobalance and electric boogie. From 19 also, ample space to live music: two bands will compete on stage. On the one hand, Fannie Crue, leader of the band D.N.A., will present 'piano and voice live rock' 60s and '70s,' a cross-section hippie in an acoustic way to never stop dreaming of a better world. On the other side, Goats Mount, with the best music of the '60s and' 70s, pure and limpid expression of the youthful hippie counterculture. A total immersion in the "alternative" culture realized by the independent and autonomous world of the city, united in one big event. A festival with an international flavor but with an all-Italian heart where the most creative minds, circus artists, dancers and musicians meet and merge.
