The thirteenth edition of the Rome Film Fest will take place from 18 to 28 October 2018 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and other locations in Rome.
The building designer by Renzo Piano will be the core of the event and will host screenings, meetings, events, exhibitions, installations, conferences and debates. The 1300 square meters of the avenue leading to the Cavea will be transformed into one of the largest red carpet in the world.
An important role will also be played this year by the Close Meetings with authors, actors and protagonists of Italian and international culture, from the Retrospective, the Restoration and the Homages.
Next to the festival, as an independent and parallel section, Alice in the city will organize, according to its own rules, a review of films for children. Relive the history of the festival, the films, the events and the characters that have made it one of the most important international cinema events.
The event is organized by the Fondazione Cinema per Roma with the support of the Founding Members and the Main Partner, BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas.
The Art director of the Rome Film Fest is Antonio Monda, writer, university professor and curator of famous retrospectives at the most prestigious American cultural institutions.
In his work, Antonio Monda is flanked by a Selection Committee coordinated by Mario Sesti and composed of Richard Peña, Giovanna Fulvi, Alberto Crespi, Francesco Zippel, Valerio Carocci.
