Creating iron sculptures on commission: this was the purpose at the basis of the creation of Ferrovivo, in 2004, in Viterbo. The initial idea was to open a studio able to create any kind of work, from the simplest item to the great sculpture.

Ferrovivo started its work in this sector with the intention of reshaping the dynamics of mass-production in order to favour the ever-growing need for exclusivity and sophistication in product design.

An important challenge, taken on by the little studio combining the equipment of the present with the design of the past. As a matter of fact, Ferrovivo produces metal furniture through techniques borrowed from industry, but starting from a concept of craft that looks at the future with its foundation firmly rooted in the past.

In fact, the expression of the "old" craft can be found during the planning phase and in the elaboration of the design, especially in the custom-made works, with single cutting. A cut, and here is the innovation, made with the laser. The protagonist of the Ferrovivo’s workshop is such laser-cutting machine, adapted to a production of single pieces rather than to mass-production works.

Ferrovivo generates the metropolitan spell in the homes of those who choose its products, putting fantasy and colour in the centre of daily life. In a short time, Ferrovivo - after dealing with different creative fields – finds its ideal one in the world of furnishings and design. More specifically, the tree-shaped hangers become the hallmark of the company.

The workshop proposes many standard models with a wide range of shapes and styles. In addition, it proposes a service planning and creation of custom-made products. Through the years and experience, the Ferrovivo’s workshop manages to expand and enrich its range of products, proposing more than 20 models of hangers and new products such as consoles, mirrors and headboards. All of them unique and made in Italy.
