Fendi offers its visitors an immersive experience in the fascinating and exciting world of Cinema with an interactive exhibition set up at the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome. The exhibition event gives special emphasis to the unique models created by Fendi for a list of legendary award-winning films.
Visitors can book a seat in a Fendi Cinema set up for the occasion, whose retro style is inspired by the former Italian screening rooms.
Every evening a different film will be projected in which you can admire the creations made by Fendi for the set, like the fur that Madonna wore in "Evita" and the coat in mole and squirrel fur created for Martin's age of innocence Scorsese.
Admirable is the hand-painted red hood for Grand Budapest Hotel, a magnificent example of haute fourrure dedicated to the big screen: the film's costume designer, Milena Canonero, won the coveted Oscar.
Another example not to be missed is the famous bag used in Sex and the City, which Carrie defends bravely against a thief who wants to steal it by mistakenly exchanging it for a simple handbag without recognizing the famous baguette designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi.
Access to the exhibition and the projections is free. The exhibition is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00. Projections scheduled every day at 21:00.
