This multi-specialist FabLab lends support to anyone wishing to develop a project linked to any of the regional Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) sectors (Aerospace, Life Sciences, Cultural Heritage and Technologies, Agrifood, Creative Digital Industries, Green Economy and Security) making machines and know-how available to develop new digital fabrication projects.
The key equipment at this facility consists of three 3D printers (2 FDMs: DeltaWasp 20×40 and Zortrax 200 and 1 SLA: Form1+ ) a Roland MDX-40A digital milling machine fitted with a 4th dedicated rotating axle that makes it possible to automatically work on two or four faces. As well as the prototyping part, the MDX-40A features a contact scanning probe that can be fitted to the machine's mandrel. The ZSC-1 probe makes it possible to achieve surfaces placed on the work table with a resolution in hundredths.
The Trotec Speedy 100 laser cutter also comes with a rotating accessory to cut round, cylindrical or conical objects, such as tumblers or bottles.
