Massimiliano Marchelli used to work as a window dresser in the '80s, specializing in set design. From there he acquired a series of much more innovative techniques, discovering his passion for iron and wood, which led him to specialize over the years in the restoration and creation of furniture.
For over 20 years his company Erameccanica has been researching and restoring furniture and lamps created for work, bringing the essence to light through the form. As archaeologists of design, attentive to the respect and care of places, the research sites are the old industries and workshops of craft production that from the '900 to today represent the bridge between the legacy of the past and the innovation of the future.
All this comes to life at the shop located in the historic Della Vittoria district (Piazza Mazzini) in Rome. Massimiliano Marchelli personally takes care of the research of lamps, objects and furnishings in an industrial style, belonging in particular to the Fifties: every object recovered by Erameccanica is restored and reworked also according to customer requests.
Erameccanica offers solutions to furnish private spaces or for public reception: the laboratory has in fact a vast stock of furnishings that can satisfy the requests of professional firms or companies operating in the furniture sector for shops and public places.
